Rick Sabol
The Hilton Head Concours is back again this Oct. 29 - November 2. Our LOMDS August TidePointe Luncheon will welcome very special guest speaker; Richard Sabol, Executive Director of the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance. Richard, also an LOMDS member, will give us a preview of what to expect at this year’s Concours. Register today!
Rick Sabol is the Executive Director of the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival. Sabol, a passionate automotive enthusiast and Hilton Head Island resident, brings with him a wealth of leadership experience from various industries, including automotive, healthcare, restaurant, and industrial services. His expertise in strategic planning, sales, and operations management has helped shape successful businesses. He retired in 2022 from his role as CEO of Mahoney Environmental Services, a recycling company that processed ingredient material for the Bi-diesel and renewable fuel industry. The company was marketed and eventually sold to Neste, a Finland based company and largest global producer of renewable fuels. Now, he’s ready to steer one of the nation’s top automotive events to new heights.
Sabol, who has called Hilton Head Island home since 2019, could not be more excited to take on this new role. “The Concours is one of the best reasons to visit this beautiful coastal community, and I can’t wait to help introduce it to even more people,” Sabol said. “What excites me most is the chance to educate and inspire the next generation of automotive enthusiasts while giving back to our local community through the Concours Charitable Fund. It’s a perfect blend of passion and purpose.”
A seasoned car collector and enthusiast, Sabol is a proud member of the Lowcountry Oyster and Motorcar Society, the Cadillac V-Club, and the National Corvette Museum. He’s no stranger to Concours events, having exhibited several of his own vehicles, including a 2005 Maserati Spyder Cambiocorsa, a 1996 Corvette Grand Sport, and his current favorite, a 2024 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing.
The 2025 Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance & Motoring Festival will take place from October 31 through November 2, 2025. Tickets are now available at hhiconcours.com.
